In 1994, my husband and I chose Tualatin to raise our three children. We found it to be an ideal location, with its wonderful community, safety, wonderful parks and trees, and proximity to Portland. Today, after years of serving you on the City Council, I am excited to announce that I am running to be your next Mayor.

Our current Mayor, Frank Bubenik, is finishing his final term. Working closely with him has shown me exactly what it takes to advocate for our town, secure critical  funding, and truly listen to residents. I want to bring that same dedication, along with my deeproots in local service, to lead Tualatin into its next chapter. 

Grounded in financial expertise and service as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and former business owner, I have the skills to manage city finances responsibly. I also know how to ask tough questions of our service providers to make sure that rates passed on to our community members are kept as low as possible. 

My peers on Council have twice elected me to serve as Council President and showing they have the confidence to know I show up to meetings ready to listen and speak up for our residents and local businesses. As your Mayor, I promise to lead with that same collaborative spirit. I welcome different points of view because healthy debate always leads to better decisions for Tualatin.
