I am running because I care deeply about the everyday details that make Tualatin a great community to live, work, and play.

Through my work on the Downtown Revitalization Committee, I continue to have the opportunity to help determine how strategic investments will be made to support local businesses, transform our city center into a thriving destination, and spark sustainable economic growth. Included in my efforts, To support community feedback, I will continue my efforts to bring food cart pods to our community and continue building a plan to bring a local farmer’s market.

I am actively working to fix traffic flow, improve safety, and partner with neighboring cities to explore improvements to our public transit. I am proud of my efforts to stop the proposed tolling on I-205. I currently serve on several transportation committees where I continue to focus on improving traffic flow and providing safe routes for motor vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians throughout our city.

I built the consensus for our Climate Action Plan and its enactment. Our city is a leader in protecting our environment, livability, and implementing cost-saving improvements. One great example that resulted from this plan is the recent installation of a hydro-powered microturbine system at our City Service building that generates renewable electricity from the natural flow of water in our distribution system.

I championed the creation of our IDEA Advisory Committee because every single voice in Tualatin deserves to be heard. During COVID, I supported keeping the Citizen Involvement Organizations because of their importance in communicating information and provide vital feedback to Council regarding concerns from our neighborhoods.
